Our founder, Jason Campbell, brings over a decade of industry experience where he has held numerous property level and executive level positions at Marriott and other hotel companies, working with full service, limited service and hybrid hotel products. Mid-career, he embarked on an 18-month backpacking trip around the world to better understand emerging accommodation concepts such as hostels, co-living and campgrounds in the youth travel segment.
His first-hand, operational and leadership experiences are accompanied by a Certificate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, a Certificate in Corporate Finance from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. researching the application of Design Thinking from Stanford and he is currently pursuing a Certificate in Hotel Real Estate from Cornell’s Hotel School.
He continues to grow as a global citizen and by staying in touch with the younger demographics. Jason has experienced cultures and languages in nearly 40 countries and territories and serves students and alumni as the Vice President of Careers for Christopher Newport University’s Alumni Society Board of Directors, where he is currently serving his second term.
