There are two areas of support we target towards these businesses – organizational consulting and new segment penetration. Companies undergoing high-growth and global expansions need to ensure their organizations are build efficiently to allow for decisions to be made quickly and that those teams are properly resourced. A heightened focus exists on the documentation of policies and procedures and how to effectively run meetings according to monthly established SMART goals. These companies also have the ability to pivot into new segments more timely than larger organizations and with more access to capital than smaller organizations. Their independent brands often allow for flexibility at enhancing their offerings in retail, tours and activities, experience programming, entertainment and food and beverage, focusing on driving additional revenue through these outlets.

We love working hand in hand with local operators and owners of 1-3 hotels. Our experience in running hotels, training staff and managing financial statements, accompanied with our generational research and understanding of emerging accommodations help our partners ensure operational efficiencies in their business. These business leaders don’t have robust above-property teams, if any at all, so we help them fill the gap. We work closely with associates to collect feedback and uncover the root cause of operational challenges, then associate that feedback to the financial performance of the property and provide recommendations to owners and above-property leadership teams using a thorough Business Review deliverable. These can be short term contracts to complete audits and diagnostics, or long term agreements to help with ongoing oversight of General Managers and expansion plans.
